L'Arche

When the landmark building in the western Parisian skyline, La Grande Arche, chose the architect Franklin Azzi for a complete overhaul of its interior spaces, we were askedto design a new logo, and to implement a full signage system. We renamed the north wing of the building L'Arche, Yorgo drew a symbol evocative of the way the beveled surfaces catch the light, and we created a custom typeface, Hypercube, inspired by the core structure of the building with its mix of 45° and 90° angles. The full signage system includes 30 exclusive pictograms and 700 printed and cut-out signs applied on materials we selected, designed, and lit in collaboration with the Franklin Azzi team.
