Hellenic Government, Eleutheria bicentenary Swatch
Yorgo Tloupas was asked by Greek prime minister Kiriakos Mitsotakis to design a limited edition Swatch to celebrate the 200 years of the country’s independence. The design subtly alludes to both the current and historic Greek flags, featuring parallel white and blue lines that reveal a white and blue cross. Produced in a limited edition of 200 pieces, the watch is part of a collection of objects commemorating a historic moment for Greece, ranging from hoodies and sneakers to a Hermès scarf.
